Store at room temperature away from heat and direct sunlight pre reconstitution. Refrigerate between 2-8’C post Reconstitution.
Dosage:
Initial: .5 mcg/kg/day. May increase dose gradually. Max: 5 mcg/kg/day. Maximum period for administration 45 days.
Characteristics:
Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) Long R3, also known as IGF-1 LR3, is a synthetic protein that’s used in cell culture and as a growth factor supplement. It’s a more potent version of IGF-1, with a longer half-life and improved metabolic stability. It differs from native IGF-1 in that it possesses an arginine instead of a glutamic acid at the third position in its amino acid sequence (“arginine 3”), and also has an additional 13 amino acids at its N-terminus (MFPAMPLLSLFVN) (“long”), for a total of 83 amino acids.
